The exhibition shows about 20 wooden models of destroyed German synagogues, built by students from the Technical University of Braunschweig. These models in the scale of 1:50 show the development of synagogue architecture in Germany from Baroque up to the destructions in 1938. The models are accompanied by explanatory texts and pictures. A catalogue (in German) accompanies the exhibition (an English edition is planned). With the help of the Central Council of Jews in Germany the exhibition will be presented at the Jewish communities Dortmund. The following stages of the exhibition are planned:
